Ten years and longer ago, hotels with large swimming pools promoted wet t-shirt contests: Swagman, Tropicana, Mo’s Place, Woodland Park. Such events would be designed to showcase each bar’s best looking bargirls in tiny cotton tops and bikni bottoms. Of course such events were known to get very raunchy as female performers were supposed to generate high scores with judges who donated generous amounts of money for their jobs. Today, wet t-shirt contest no longer exist. They were deemed lewd shows and hotels are no longer granted permits from Cityhall for event promotion. One of the big stars that emerged as a quasi celebrity was busty Filipina Jen (or Yhen) who was later featured on magazines like Babae and Filipina Archives among others. She later revealed to be rather shy. She drank Tequilas to get as naughty as she was during the contest. Cheers.
